Scholarships
Our Scholarships
Over $100,000 dollars in scholarships awarded to local high school students since 2004.
Thanks to the generous support of the 5K Ranch Run by the communities in August, numerous recipients will be awarded scholarships throughout the tri-county area.
To qualify, applicants must be a senior in high school or the equivalent thereof, must be a resident of Lavaca, Fayette, or Colorado counties or must attend a high school in Fayette, Lavaca or Colorado counties.
Along with their application, Applicants must submit a copy of his/her transcript through mid-term of their senior year, rank, and GPA. The winning applicant(s) will be paid a one-time award to be used toward tuition or other education-related expenses.
A completed NVCW scholarship application must be submitted along with an essay about her/himself, any agricultural influences and goals, involvement in the beef industry, and goals in life.
Payment of scholarship will be made when the NVCW have received proof of enrollment at an accredited college, university, or technical school.

Application Guidelines
Instructions
Completing and downloading should all be done from the website – save to your computer, then print for original signatures.
Applications must be postmarked no later than March 6, 2026.
