Navidad Valley CattleWomen will hold their 12th Annual 5K Ranch Run on August 2, 2025 in conjunction with the Schulenburg Festival. The Reunion Theme will continue as it has inspired family fun and teamwork for many years. This means that along with the traditional age group prizes there will be additional runners recognized. The categories include largest family group, youngest participant, most “seasoned” participant, and runner who travelled the furthest to participate. This event will be chip timed. The 5K will once again be followed by a 1-mile Fun Run for the youngsters not quite ready for the full 5K. Funds raised will be awarded to graduating seniors from Fayette, Lavaca and Colorado counties with an interest in Agriculture. Navidad Valley CattleWomen have presented over $110,000 in scholarships since they were first awarded in 2006.
